JEB: 5 Weeks Old!

JEB: 1 Month Old!

Junie Bug is 1 month old! Here's what she's up to these days:

• Eating every three hours around the clock
• Spitting up after most feedings, though the projectile episodes seem to have decreased in frequency
• Tracking objects and toys with her eyes
• Practicing sucking on a paci (it's still not clear if she's a fan or not) and her hands
• Sticking out her tongue
• Kicking her legs and swatting with her arms
• Being super cute and sweet :)

JEB: 4 Weeks Old!

June is 4 weeks old! Highlights from the past week:

• June continues to spit up. A lot. She and I can expect at least a few outfit changes each day.
• JEB is also a big snoozer. She still tends to spend most of the day (and night, thankfully) sleeping.
• Little June graduated to size 1 diapers and the newborn clothes will likely be packed away in the next day or two. :)

Happy Easter 2012!

Ellen had a great Easter! (I'd say June had fun too, but I'm pretty sure she didn't have a clue as to what was going on ...) We celebrated with the Johnson clan on Saturday where Ellen participated in the annual treasure hunt and scored an impressive loot of toys and trinkets that has provided hours of entertainment. On Sunday, we did an Easter egg hunt at our house for and then the four of us ventured to mass for the first time since June was born. Much to our surprise, we got there in time to find a parking spot (in the lot!) and have our pick of pew. Way to go, us! June slept the entire time (thankfully) and Ellen was very well behaved (however, she was wondering where Jesus, Mary & Joseph were ... Much to her delight, Ellen decided that the male solo in the choir was Joseph singing!) Later in the day we headed to my parents' house where Ellen partook in yet another egg hunt. I hope she doesn't think egg hunts will now be part of our regular weekend routine.

JEB: 3 Weeks Old!

Sweet June is 3 weeks old! It seems like she constantly changes (I think she acquires a new fat roll every few minutes) and we love her more and more each day.
