EVB: Vacation Bible School

Ellen tried something new this summer: Vacation Bible School. It was held at St. Ambrose (where Ellen attended preschool) so it was familiar territory and super close to our house (win-win!). Ellen attended VBS every morning for a week and had a ton of fun learning about God and the Bible through stories, crafts and games. She can't wait to do it again next summer!

JEB: 3 Years + 3 Months Old!

June is now three months into her year of being 3 and doing great! As always, she's a ton of fun and we get a huge kick out of watching her run around and try to keep up with Ellen. She's been having lots of fun playing outside, visiting local playgrounds, watching weekly Puppet Wagon performances, splashing in the pool and riding her trike. Although she doesn't care for the outdoors as much as her big sister (this little Sweaty Betty has trouble tolerating the heat), she seems to be enjoying all summer has to offer so far.

Two-Wheeler!

Summer hasn't even officially started, but Ellen has suddenly mastered riding a two-wheeler! She's been SO close for a number of weeks and something finally clicked! She is so excited and so proud of herself. :)

Big Sisters!

Ellen will be a second-time big sister and June will be a first-time big sister this November when we welcome their baby brother or sister to our family. We are all so excited! (Note: Ellen is convinced the baby will be a boy and that we should name him Gary. June is sure the baby is a girl that we should name Violet, but if it happens to be a boy, she says we should name him Snaky Poodle.)
